Join MVFN for the 2026 Fall Camp at Whitefish Lake Group Campground, located along the Highway 60 Corridor in Algonquin Provincial Park.

The camp begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11 and ends at noon on Monday, September 14. MVFN has reserved two adjacent group campsites, sites 516 and 517, with space for tents, trailers and RVs, as well as the shared kitchen and dining shelter.

Registration

Fall Camp is limited to 40 participants, and all participants must be current MVFN members.

Each participant must register separately using their own MVFN member account.

Guests and pets are not permitted, except for service dogs.

Camp Fee

The fee is $70 per person and includes:

• Three nights of group campsite rental
• Insurance
• Firewood
• Common camp supplies

Payment may be made by credit card, Interac e-transfer or cheque. Credit card payment is strongly encouraged because it allows MVFN to confirm payment immediately.

Cash payments will not be accepted.

Participants will receive an invoice containing a 10-digit bill number after completing their registration. This number must be included with any e-transfer or cheque payment.

Anyone whose payment has not been received and recorded before Fall Camp will not be permitted to attend.

Additional Vehicle Fee

The driver of each vehicle must pay an additional overnight vehicle fee directly at the campground office upon arrival:

• Regular rate: $14.13 per night
• Seniors aged 65 and over: $11.53 per night
• Persons with disabilities: $7.63 per night

Annual Day Use Vehicle Permits do not cover this overnight vehicle fee.

Additional Information

Whitefish Lake Group Campground is approximately 230 kilometres from Almonte, or about a three-hour drive.

Participants who prefer not to stay at the campground may arrange accommodations at one of the motels in Whitney, located just outside Algonquin Park’s East Gate.

Anyone planning to paddle must bring the same personal safety and boat safety equipment required for regular MVFN paddling trips.
